We are very glad to announce that Dr. Mehdi Kandi joins our team. Mehdi will strengthen our teams with his skills around cloud computing, large scale data management, and artificial intelligence. Mehdi will start working on several AI based project and on the Helios project (that we will present soon on BL.research!).

Mohamed Mehdi KANDI holds a Ph.D in computer science from Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse). After obtaining an engineering degree (ESI-Algiers), then a research-oriented master’s degree (UPMC-Paris), he conducted a thesis in IRIT laboratory. He also worked as a teaching associate at Paul Sabatier University. His research focused on elastic resource allocation for querying databases in the cloud. In his activities, he is interested in machine learning, data management, auto-scaling, as well as big data technologies and their deployment in the cloud.
