Remote Assist uses WebRTC to provide high-quality audio and video calls between field technicians and remote experts. WebRTC is a secure peer-to-peer communication technology that guarantees a direct, seamless connection. It is compatible with multiple platforms (web, Android, iOS) and ensures stable communication through encrypted data channels (HTTPS and SRTP), giving technicians the real-time support they need.
Remote Assist features an augmented reality annotation interface that allows experts to visually guide technicians in the field. Annotations such as arrows, circles, and drawings are directly overlaid on the technician’s view via the smartphone camera, improving intervention precision and reducing cognitive load by providing clear, contextual instructions.
Remote Assist is fully integrated with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This integration enables efficient synchronization of maintenance data with remote assistance sessions, facilitating the recording of interventions and capitalization of shared knowledge for future use. It ensures continuity of information and contributes to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
